The Audio Visual Drop Kicks are an Ōtepoti-based indie-rock outfit. The four-piece has released two singles in 2023: the surfy-alt-rock track 'Meursault' and the dreamier tune 'Ceviche', ahead of their debut EP 'Greenhouse'. Having gigged at Ubar, Dive, and OUSA's Hyde Street Party, AVDK are fizzing to play the Crown for the first time alongside some legendary regulars!
In 2020, Tough Guy was born in a full face of makeup with their heart on the sleeve of their polka dot dress. Using guitar and drum loops as a backdrop for songs that explore the full spectrum of human emotion, Tough Guy invites you feel all your feelings out loud with them.
Ōtepoti three-piece Hystera create feminist sludge word-vomit that’s heavy on the drama. Their songs consist of dirty basslines, messy guitar, and heavy-slapping drums. Come trauma bond and scream at the world with them.
