Aurora Distillery Gin Experience

Create, make and take home your own bottle of gin at the Aurora Distillery Gin Experience!

From the end of September to late November we are back at Wellington Racecourse in Upper Hutt for some awesome gin making!

Our Experience takes place in a great, clean, airy Suite on the top floor of the Member’s Stand with awesome views over the racecourse. Our experienced distillery staff are on hand throughout to guide you through the process and give as much or as little advice as you want. We have hundreds of satisfied customers who have made some really exciting gins.

Your experience starts with a brief introduction to the gin-making process then creating your recipe. Our team are on hand to provide advice on what to choose and how much. We also have some tested recipe cards to help.

Once the gin distillation is underway we have some time to taste the Arrival gins and chat about all things gin. You’ll also need to choose a name for your gin.

When the distillation is finished we will help you bottle, seal and label your gin so you can take it home!
