Create, make and take home your own bottle of gin!

In April and May we are back at Wellington Racecourse in Trentham, Upper Hutt for some awesome gin making! Saturday 8th April is a chocolate-themed special where you'll get your chance to try making a chocolate gin (but get in quick - very few tickets left).

Our Experience takes place in a great, clean, airy Suite on the top floor of the Member’s Stand with awesome views over the racecourse. Our experienced distillery staff are on hand throughout to guide you through the process and give as much or as little advice as you want. We have hundreds of satisfied customers who have made some really exciting gins

Your experience starts with a brief introduction to the gin-making process then creating your recipe. Our team are on hand to provide advice on what to choose and how much. We also have some tested recipe cards to help.

Once the gin distillation is underway we have some time to taste the Arrival gins, talk about the history of gin and its current resurgence. You’ll also need to choose a name for your gin.

When the distillation is finished we will help you bottle, seal and label your gin so you can take it home!

We have around 30 different botanicals for you to choose from, including the gin staples of juniper, coriander, angelica and citrus.
