An evening with Louisa Wall

Attendees are invited to enjoy a complimentary refreshments and nibbles and mix and mingle prior to the Lecture starting. This will be the 11th Lecture in the series. The Dame Dorothy Lecture Series was started in 2012 by the then MP for Dunedin South (now Taieri) Hon Clare Curran. The lecture continues the strong tradition of honouring the late Dame Dorothy Fraser by highlighting the achievements of New Zealand women, and remembering their contributions. The event will be hosted by Ingrid Leary MP in an Interview Q & A style. Ingrid Leary brings a wealth of experience in journalism and television that ensures the evening is enjoyed by all.

Dame Dorothy Fraser was the youngest person to join the New Zealand Labour Party and was a well-known community figure who gave so much back to the Dunedin South community. She spent 29 years on the Otago Hospital Board, was a Dunedin City Councilor, an Otago University CouncilorPres, Otago High School board of governors member, and chairwoman of the Montecillo Trust Board.
