All In This Together - Single Release Party!

After recording for much of 2023, Kāpiti based Bowater Band are finally launching their Single "All in this together" with a party at St Peters Village Hall.

Bowater Band perform lyrical stories – woven through blends of pop rock, blues, funk, reggae and ska, with the purpose of connecting the hearts of audiences.

Scott Bowater (song writer, guitars and lead vocals) along with classically trained and European influenced Sarita Petric (bass), and soul drummer Cameron Malietoa (drums), have evolved their sound to a level that demands touring. Bowater Band's sound spans many popular music genres. It blends poly rhythmic funk with back beats, ghost notes and rich vocal harmonies – with strong lead vocals. It’s not striving to be totally mainstream (think Talking Heads, Roxy music, B52’s – all fantastic bands), but their message is clear. We're all in this together!
