Get ready for an extravagant, eclectic and thoroughly delicious celebration of New Zealand wine when Winetopia presented by Singapore Airlines returns to Christchurch city centre in the brand new Te Pae Convention Centre in 2022.
Following seven huge seasons in Auckland and Wellington, Winetopia will bring our wonderful world of wine direct to Ōtautahi. These sumptuous events bring an action-packed line-up of personalities to the stage alongside Aotearoa’s most celebrated wines - bottled, aged and ready for tasting.
In 2022, more than 50 prestigious wineries from all over the country will showcase their wines serving everything from Albarino to Syrah and plenty of Pinot too. From the latest vintages and award-winners to some of the most lauded and expensive bottles in the country, Winetopia is a wine-lovers dream come true.
This year the Main Stage is hosted by TV Presenter and Comedian Ben Hurley, the tastings are led by Master of Wine Stephen Wong and The Wine Writer Angie Atkinson and there is a live set each session by Auckland band Two Many Chiefs. You even have a chance to meet the author of Sideways, perhaps the biggest wine Novel and movie ever made.
