Welcome to Whangarei Chess Club
Join us Whangarei Central Library, first and third Sunday of each month (can vary, see web or facebook), 10am to 1pm for friendly games with no fees. We meet at tables on the ground floor towards the back right (occasionally 2nd Sunday of the month when public holidays require).
You decide if you want to play friendly games without a clock, or use a clock to keep both sides to a similar limit. We usually have a mix of adults and school-age players. Bring a chess set and clock if you can, but not required.
