In their newly released book: Wellington Architecture: A Walking Guide, writer John Walsh and photographer Patrick Reynolds offer a lively and insightful survey of the capital’s architecture. Join them on a tour along one of the book’s routes – a walk along the waterfront, starting in the old port area and finishing on Oriental Parade, New Zealand’s best promenade. The tour introduces the architectural styles deployed in Wellington over the past 130 years, and the architects who designed some of the city’s most significant buildings.
