They bring challenging originals, entertaining stories and incredible energy. Originally from NSW and NZ respectively, this trans-Tasman powerhouse featuring a foot-stomping Kiwi girl and an Australian country boy bring music that is more than the sum of its parts.
Lindsay’s masterful strings (mandolin and fiddle) and vocals meet songstress Victoria's magnificent voice in driving rhythms in a connection that is hard to describe and you need to hear to believe. They’re known already for uniquely gritty, evocative songs, some muscle-twitching tunes with echoes of their love for roots Americana and Celtic traditional music amongst the tight harmonies.
They have been selected to be one of the 52 acts for a spotlight showcase at the Folk Alliance International 2022, Nominated ‘Best Folk Artist’ in the NZ Music awards 2022, Nominated Australian Folk Music awards ‘ Artists of the Year, Best Duo/Group/Ensemble’ 2021 and recipients of the 2020 Troubadour Foundation Award, they’re making a bold mark in both countries. Now with the duo’s debut Album, Grief’s a Gardener’, they bring connected and grounding original songs in a show that will leave your tank topped up.
