Christchurch band Volts will play their debut Auckland show at Wine Cellar.
The group fronted by vocalist Lorna Coll, have a style that can be best described as a blend of emotive retro pop meets powerhouse rock.
In October 2021 the band released their debut EP and the frenetic rock n roll track Wolves. The record achieved top 20 status in the New Zealand hot music charts and Wolves has become a breakaway hit, gaining airtime on Radio Hauraki and high rotation on The Rock.
As a follow up to the band’s highly successful EP, Volts have recently dropped a new single titled Change, merging melody, urgency and energy delivering another electric rock song.
Volts will be joined by local rock legends Tablefox. After a massive last few years playing shows with the likes of James, The Charlatans, City Calm Down and The Feelers, Kiwi rock 4-piece Tablefox return with the lead single from their third album Battles. The groups latest song Keep Them Guessing has been storming up the national rock charts.
Both bands are looking forward to teaming up for a big night of live rock n roll.
