The Wax Birds

Pete and Jo, AKA, The Wax Birds are an Acoustic duo featuring one guitar and two harmonious voices.

They moved to New Zealand from the UK back in 2016 and have since been residing in Canterbury.

They cover a wide range of songs from Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley, Elton John, Paul Simon, Etta James, Joni Mitchell etc. In addition to their cover song setlist, they have a vast catalogue of their own original music.

12 Bar is proud to play host to a wide range of New Zealand’s finest craft beers, delicious treats from our on-site food truck, Craft Eats, and a huge variety of live music events.
