Thames Coast Community Kindergarten fundraising event, and fun day out for all the family!
It’s time again for our annual Duck Race! This is a fundraising gala style event for the Thames Coast Community Kindergarten open to the public.
From 11 am at kindy there will be a bake stall, juicies, ice cream, face painting, sand pit dig, and paper duck fishing, located at the Kindergarten. *Please bring cash and coins for these on the day.
At around 11.30 am, we walk together from the kindergarten to the Te Puru stream where the races are held. There is an area at Te Puru Holiday Park where we can watch the ducks and boats race by. Everyone can join in with The Kindergarten children decorated duck race, Novelty Boat Race for primary school aged children and Novelty Boat Race for teenagers and adults.
Boats must be non-motorised. No Polystyrene please!
