Introducing The Great Laugh Comedians for 2022...
We are super excited to have the legendary Mike Boon MC-ing our event! If you haven’t seen Mike in action on stage yet, I promise you this event will be worth him alone! If you came in 2021 you will know he takes the stage well and is worth attending alone!
Tony Lyall will also be hitting the stage at The Great Laugh again this year. He came in 2021 and he sure made the crowd laugh.
You might recognize Tony’s face as a reporter and writer for The Project. And he writes for 7 Days...so you know he is going to be good as he writes the funny stuff for other comedians!
Another comedian from Auckland joins us for 2022, please welcome Aaron Beard.
"Aaron Beard started out as an apprentice mechanic before moving on to become a Flight Attendant and then a Soldier in the NZ Army (he didn’t last long there). However, none of these jobs gave him the same satisfaction as acting and entertaining. So by day, he is (and was) many things, but by night, and also sometimes by day, he is Aaron Fig Beard Comedian – Presenter-Actor-MC-Writer."
The third comedian for our 2022 show might be a face many in Geraldine recognize. Shelley Iñón hit the stage with us in 2021 and signed up for our 2022 show backstage last year! Before becoming a mother, Shelley dabbled in stand-up comedy and studied performing arts and onscreen acting. A comedic Wattpad writer, Shelley is trying her hand at stand-up comedy once again.
The lucky last comedian we are excited to introduce you to, is one of the faces behind The Running Duck and also stirs the Hot Sauce at Al's Laboratory, we are pleased to announce another hidden comedian of Geraldine, Mr Al Bolland.
Supported by many local businesses, the Geraldine Home & Kindergarten bring you this event to raise money for Geraldine Kindergarten.
