The Christchurch National Bird Show & Sale

Come and see the most beautiful, colourful birds in town. There will be a large range of birds from the tiniest finches to some large parrots a total of over 1525 birds.

The management committee have been working very hard over the last few months to organize the National hosted by our Christchurch Club. Many of our experienced and extremely knowledgeable breeders and showmen & women will be there over the weekend to assist anyone who wants to keep birds at home.

“TOPFLITE” is the shows national sponsor they will have staff there to answer any questions and have a range of seed for sale.

There are bird fanciers from all over the country coming to Christchurch.

A Dutch Auction is being held featuring Breeding pairs of different varieties of Birds - there will be a very large Sales section open to the public on Saturday and Sunday morning, giving the public, breeders & exhibitors the opportunity to purchase new stock or new varieties of birds from some of the best breeders in New Zealand.

There will also be a kid's corner and an opportunity of your child to put the name into a draw to win either a budgie or a canary.
