Tea Time Talkies - Anatomy of a Murder

Gather your chums and join us for the first Tea Time Talkies of 2022 – a relaxed, indulgent Sunday afternoon with a classic movie and the option to enjoy a delicious Devonshire Tea!

Join us for this special screening of the 1959 American courtroom drama, following semi-retired Michigan lawyer Paul Biegler (James Stewart) as he takes on the case of Army Lt. Manion (Ben Gazzara), who murdered a local innkeeper after his wife (Lee Remick) claimed that he raped her. Over the course of an extensive trial, Biegler parries with District Attorney Lodwick (Brooks West) and out-of-town prosecutor Claude Dancer (George C. Scott) to set his client free, but his case rests on the victim’s mysterious business partner (Kathryn Grant), who’s hiding a dark secret.

The screening will consist of a 30 minute intermission where a delicious Devonshire Tea* awaits for upgraded ticket holders (a cup of tea and traditional homemade scones with cream and jam).
