Alexander Turnbull was an avid collector of Aotearoa New Zealand books and artefacts, and in 1918 he bequeathed his collection to the nation.

Chief Librarian at the Alexander Turnbull Library, Chris Szekely, reveals treasures from the library’s collection as profiled in 'Te Kupenga, 101 stories of Aotearoa from the Turnbull', and will explore how the editorial team chose just 101 artefacts for the book, what are his favourites and why.

Chris will be introduced by Wairarapa Library Service Manager, Annette Beattie.
