Join local conservation personalities and enthusiasts to be guided into the delightful Tauranga-Taupo Waterfall nestled in the foothills of the Kaimanawa Ranges. This place is special and not often visited.
You will be travelling off track through red beech and mixed podocarp forest. Stop for lunch and a refreshing swim, before returning back. 7+hours walking time. A very good level of fitness is required –there is a challenging descent down to the waterfall –but this is optional. No cost but a koha to the local Tauranga-Taupo Restoration project would be appreciated!
