In its ongoing commitment to support and provide opportunities for live performance, Pah Homestead is proud to present the Sunday Concert Series 2022 - an eclectic array of musicians and musical genres showcasing local performers.

Now in their thirteenth year, The Flaming Mudcats are regarded among the country’s premier Blues acts. They have performed in Blues festivals and clubs throughout New Zealand as well as Australia, the Pacific Islands and the USA. The band performed twice at the Crossroads Blues Festival in Illinois as well as several famed Chicago blues clubs. They also played on 6th Street, in Austin, Texas.

Their energetic show blends original and cover material written and drawn from their eclectic influences letting you dance your socks off to everything from butt shaking belters to soulful grinders.

The 'Mudcats' have released four successful albums. Their latest, 'Forever and A Day', has been particularly well received both locally and overseas.

This four-piece band is fronted by Craig Bracken on vocals, harmonica and tenor sax, along with guitar slinger Doug Bygrave. Drummer Ian Thomson and bassman Pete Parnham form the tight, driving rhythm section.
