Can Do Comedy

If you like cheeky, relaxed and lighthearted comedy seasoned with puns and pop culture references, then this is the show for you! Taylor Ruddle is bringing the laughs to Nelson for one night only, (along with a crew of comedic companions) to split your sides for an hour with some hilarious comedy! It’s not a show that deals with any particularly heavy topics, which makes it the perfect show to unwind from the week and forget about all the strife in your life for a couple of hours. In Taylor’s words “It’s just telling yuks for an hour, aye.”

Taylor Ruddle’s “& Friends” consist of Matt Threadwell from Christchurch and Nelson locals Sarah O'Connell and Dave Vandy.

Content-wise, the show is fairly clean, a few adult themes may be referenced and there is minimal swearing. We estimate it would be appropriate for ages 15 and up.

Taylor Ruddle is a nationally touring comedian, he has been performing since 2014 (making people laugh since 2018!) and was described by Joe Daymond of Celebrity Treasure Island, Rags Are Riches and just general fame, fame as “Unreal.” He was nominated for Breakout Comedian of the South Island in the 2022 NZ Comedy Guild Awards which unfortunately he did not win, alongside People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2022 which according to him, “hurt a lot more than losing the comedy one.”
