Marlborough Book Festival: Workshop run by Barbara DeLeo - Whitehaven Room

There’s never been a better time to self-publish, says Barbara DeLeo. Her workshop will canvass every step of the process, from writing and editing, formatting and publishing, to getting your book into e-readers, audio and libraries, and perhaps on the shelves of little bookshops on the opposite side of the world.

Barbara will also talk about marketing and getting paid royalties for your work. “Anything is possible. It’s just you and your creative mind and your computer. That’s all you need to do it”. Barbara’s workshop will also look at potential pitfalls of being your own gatekeeper.  Bring a notebook, pen and plenty of questions, before firing up your publishing project.
