Otago Museum

Otago Museum welcomes visitors to another Seniors' Day at Otago Museum.

In partnership with Radio Dunedin, enjoy $3 barista coffee, $5 Devonshire tea in our beautiful Museum between 10am and 12pm.

This month, we welcome Seniors’ to a special preview screening of our new Planetarium experience, SpaceOpera, at 11:30am.

The discovery of a flying disc beneath the ground allows passengers to take off from Earth and visit an entire solar system. This recreates the interior of an alien spaceship where a voice facilitates the journey and provides information on each galactic stop accompanied by Op.32: The Planets by Gustav Holst.

SpaceOpera is a unique artistic, philosophic, scientific, and cinematic experience all in one!

Of course, there is also 10% off at the Museum Shop too. Join us in September and make the most of a day out at the Museum!
