Sea Week is a great time to make a needle felted sea creature. Needle felting is a fun way to sculpt unspun wool into a miniature 3D creature. In this workshop Elizabeth will teach you the basics of needle felting. During the workshop you will make one or more small needle felting projects to take home with you. You might want to make a sea turtle, sea urchin or just a beautiful seashell to keep or give as a gift. At the end of the workshop participants will understand the process of how to make simple needle felting projects at home using materials readily available at the local craft store. Elizabeth Sheid sells handicrafts at the Kaiapoi Market on Saturdays, she is a passionate crafter who has been felting for several years. All materials provided, suitable for children 9 and up, but with adult supervision only as the process involves using sharp needles.

Please note this course is also being offered at the WEA in Gloucester Street.
