On this day you will create a one-of-a-kind scarf. You have the choice between felting a very fine cobweb scarf or a scarf with lots gorgeous curls for fringes.
Lots of choice to combine carded/combed wool and raw curls in different ways. You will learn how to create a “falling” felt by adding holes and how to create ruffles by laying out wool in a certain direction.
We will be working with very fine Merino wool, GotlandxRomney lambswool, silk fibres and superlong and soft Tawhai Gotland lambswool– light like feathers! There is the opportunity to dye the scarf in your favourite colours right after the felting process if you don’t want to keep it in its natural colours.
Cost: $180. All material included. Lunch, tea and coffee provided.
Time: 10am - 5pm
