Saturday Bands at Riverside Market

Check out seven of the awesome bands taking part in this festival outside Riverside Market. Grab a bite to eat from some of the fantastic food vendors, find a place on the grass and and enjoy some free Big Band Music bought to you by the Christchurch Big Band Festival. Including the Nelson Jazz Club Big Band all the way from Nelson and some of the talented youngsters from Burnside High School this line up of music will keep you entertained all day. If the weather is bad this event will relocate to A Rolling Stone at 579 Colombo Street. Once the weather cools off there'll be more live music at Fat Eddie's, just down the promenade.
This event is free but donations are appreciated.
