run4reef is a new and truly unique event to be held simultaneously in 21 host cities and iconic locations across New Zealand and Australia on Sunday 16th October.

100,000 participants of all ages and abilities across New Zealand and Australia will RUN AS ONE for their own health, the health of their cities and the health of our planet, focusing in 2022 on supporting the Great Barrier Reef.

run4reef, a run4planet initiative, will be the largest participation running event in the world, connecting participants with world class timing technology, large digital screens, and a live leaderboard!

run4reef registrations will raise much needed funds to support important causes, including reef saving mass restoration programs like the ground breaking ‘plant a coral’ initiative and New Zealand not-for-profit organisation Breast Cancer Cure. Funds raised directly from event registrations and peer-to-peer fundraising will go to WWF New Zealand, WWF Australia and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.
