Retro Ride: CANCELLED

The retro ride is a friendly event to get people moving and have fun - where you arrive as strangers ... and leave as friends! It’s for all people who have a retro bike or simply like dressing up in retro gear. Join us for a celebration of old-world style in the Manawatū. The Retro Ride will be part of the Retro Fair on Saturday 21st May, when George Street, Palmerston North will be closed to traffic for a street fair including stalls, entertainment, food, and of course, the Retro Ride.

Dress up in your retro best and bring your retro bike (or retro racing bikes) for this event starting and finishing on George St, outside Cyclista Coffee Bar, 56 George Street. Registration is a $5 donation which goes to the Arohanui Hospice. There will be two rides at this event: - Speedster ride leaving at 9AM (40km on road) - Fun ride leaving at 10AM (10-15km on track, mostly the Riverbank Pathway depending on time). There will be spot prizes for best-dressed male and female, and best bike, and more - make it a fun day to enjoy and remember!
