Red and Black Jazz Band

The Red and Black Jazz Band were formed in the mid-1980s to support the Canterbury Rugby Union during the height of their Ranfurly Shield
days. They played at Lancaster Park before games and took part in their street parades.

The four friends making up the Red and Black Jazz band have stayed together and played a very energetic style of dixieland Jazz
