The Rebel Fleet was started in 2015 by a like-minded, on-set crew working across multiple disciplines. From these humble beginnings in 2015, we have quickly grown to become a key partner in the production process for many large and small shoots in the Australasian and Asia Pacific regions. As a recent example, we worked with Disney on the live-action Mulan and allowed the Main Unit Director and Cinematographer to link up with the Second Unit in China. This allowed them to provide real-time feedback while shooting in NZ.
The Rebel Fleet exists to provide efficient, customised workflows and skilled crew to any shoot. We work closely with production to design a solution that suits their locations, budget, technical parameters and creative ambitions. We're here to further enable creative freedom by creating more efficient, collaborative workflow solutions, while delivering consistently on the fundamentals of the digital filmmaking process, no matter the size or ambitions of your shoot.
Metro film is the pioneering camera and lens rental facility in Auckland, New Zealand. We house the industry's finest technicians and continue to inspire unique high-quality camera and digital video assist equipment that is unmatched by its peers.
