During this workshop you will learn how to create your own cyanotype prints experimenting with the process in different ways to produce a series of unique works.
We’ll explore photograms and printing with negatives. You’ll learn about mixing the solutions, coating, drying, and exposing the print. We’ll also have a chance to experiment with double exposures and toning and staining of the cyanotypes to give you different colour variations. This is a fast, fun and experimental workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring their own objects with them on the day and provide a digital negative on acetate. Advice for this will be provided.
Don’t miss out - only 10 spaces available! All levels welcome. Age: 16 +
What to bring:
• An apron or old shirt as it’ll get messy.
• Tutor will be in touch with students regarding what objects to bring and how to transfer photographic images for exposure.
