Pole Inferno Pole Dance Competition is a fun, inclusive show that draws upon the incredible pole dance talent found throughout New Zealand.
We endeavour to offer something a bit different from other pole competitions run in New Zealand. We include as many dancers from varied backgrounds and different levels as we can.
Pole fitness students, pole dance teachers, strippers, experienced performers and new performers are all included. We welcome all genders.
This year we will be running four categories:
Sunday 5th June Show
Pole Open category - Theme one - "Way Back When"
Pole Open category - Theme two - "Here & Now"
Monday 6th June Show
Over 35s Pole category
Floor & Base work
Pole Inferno takes place over two days: Sunday 5th June and Monday 6th June (Queens Birthday Weekend). Our venue is Calendar Girls in Wellington and is a privately run, ticketed event.
The Pole Room NZ is a Wellington-based pole event that has been running for twelve years focusing on bringing the pole community together for entertaining pole shows featuring pole dancers from around New Zealand. 2022 is the fifth year Pole Inferno has been held.
