Planting and maintenance session

Several community groups are banding together to offer an opportunity to get out of the office and lend our environment a helping hand. Bring your gardening gloves and give it a go!
Teams of experts from Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust and WAI Wānaka will be on hand to guide you through plant identification and how you can help plants thrive in our region.
We will be planting and looking after eco-sourced native plants at this beautiful site.

The Glendhu Wetlands are located 10 minutes from Wānaka on the Wānaka-Mt Aspiring Road. The site is located before Glendhu Bay on the right inside - there is a DOC sign. Drive to the Mt Aspiring look out car park, turn around and park at the site.
