Open Mic Jam

Yes, it's back; after some years, the Community Cafe is excited to bring you 'Open Mic Jam' on Friday, May 6, at the Community Cafe in the Mangere Arts Centre from 7 pm until late.

Come see the fantastic talent unearthed here amidst a positive and uplifting atmosphere. Here's where your opportunity starts, with the stage set, lighting, full band backing (if required) and an audience to show their appreciation; this is open mic!

Musicians are welcome to bring their instruments; though we have some available, there's always a remarkable outcome for contributing to that live feel. A house band will ensure you are professionally and musically backed for your performance, not to mention a live DJ for backing tracks is available.

The cafe is open late and serves up a matchless dining experience with non-alcoholic drinks (dry site) through our friendly staff. A safe atmosphere for all to come together and showcase our community's raw and seasoned talent.
