Oli - Ollie Crooks from Dunedin is at most times a solo artist. He has a self-taught style of singing with folky and bluesy undertones. His guitar style includes a lot of fingerpicking and a few percussive styles to emulate a wider sound with one instrument. His original songs are very lyrically driven with playful takes on a bunch of subjects.
Jared - Jared Smith is a familiar fixture on the Dunedin music scene. Smith has toured New Zealand and Australia extensively and has also recorded EPs and albums with various bands over the last 15 years. Smith is now focusing on his own brand of folk/blues music and is also working on his second solo album which will have an emphasis on instrumental and introspective acoustic music.
