I roto i te mahi tahi me Te Matatini, ka whakaaturia ngā tino kapa haka e rua o Aotearoa. Ko Ngā Tūmanako tērā o Tāmaki Makaurau, te toa whakaihuwaka, rāua ko Te Pikikōtuku o Ngāti Rongomai o Te Arawa. Mā te kapa haka o Te Whanganui-a-Tara, mā Te Ahi a Tahurangi te kaupapa e wāhi. Ka tū te whakaaturanga nei ki te Opera House.

In collaboration with Te Matatini, showcasing Aotearoa’s top two kapa haka, reigning Te Matatini champion Ngā Tūmanako (Auckland) and Te Pikikōtuku o Ngāti Rongomai (Rotorua). Welcomed by local kapa haka Te Ahi a Tahurangi and presented in the Opera House, audiences who have been missing live kapa haka will flock to this display of performance excellence.
