This workshop is for anybody who wants to prevent injury
and wants to move with more ease, comfort and power.

We live in a fast-changing world that brings unexpected changes, stress and challenges. Neuroplasticity is our inherent biological system’s inherent potential to adapt, change, respond and improve. The Feldenkrais® method teaches slow, gentle movements designed to enhance Neuroplasticity, giving you the skill to discover new choices and access your own inner strength and adaptability.

Facilitator

Thomas Spring is fascinated by the human potential to learn, grow and change. He grew up in Switzerland and moved to New Zealand in 1994.
He teaches in a clear and supportive manner to ensure students find their own answers and solutions within. He has been involved with Yoga since 1996 and teaches regular classes within the Nelson region since 2002.

Thomas teaches an integral style of Yoga as inspired by the Bihar School of Yoga, Munger, India. He holds a Diploma in Satyananda Yoga (2160h) and is committed to deepen his understanding and personal practice by spending time in India regularly.

The main aim of his teaching is that students can enhance the quality of their lives by learning the theory and underlying principles and apply them in their daily life. His teaching is enriched by experiences gained in teaching Karate, Yoga, Feldenkrais and public speaking over a period of 30 years. He has taught workshops in NZ, Australia, USA, Europa and India.

Qualifications

Diploma in Satyananda Yoga
Assistant Feldenkrais® trainer and practitioner of the NZ Feldenkrais guild
Certificate in Adult teaching, NMIT, New Zealand
Trained in Functional Neurology and using biofeedback to Achieve a Positive Mood
Karate instructor of the Swiss Karate Federation
