In this beginners' workshop, Michael Potter will lead participants through making an ocarina using handbuilding techniques.

Michael will explain the technical aspect of making the whistle that brings the ocarina to life, and show attendees how to personalise their instrument with unique embellishments. He will also show participants how to turn ocarinas into animal shapes, such as whales, dolphins or turtles.

The techniques covered in this workshop are transferable to the making of other objects, and a great starting point for beginners.
