Nelson Jazz Club presents Sally and the Splankies!
Sally and the Splankies are a group of enthusiastic local musicians, re-energising the toe-tapping jazz from the roaring 1920s, celebrating the swing era and honouring the British Trad Jazz Revival – all with the booming approval of Sally – our 100-year-old tuba! The core of the band is Sally – our 100-year-old tuba, operated by Jeff Swanney. Kate Redgrove on trombone, Mason Robinson on trumpet, Dave North on clarinet and Mark Rawdon on percussion.
Sally and the Splankies provide great, toe-tapping music guaranteed to get everyone up and moving.
Music from 5pm. Bar open for refreshments from 4.30pm.
