Mine, In The Sense Of
…a hole in the earth
from which things are taken…
…something that is thought to belong to
or connect with self…

I’ve been watching the Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway Project being constructed.
How the earth is manipulated. And I have been thinking about the word ‘Mine’ with its many definitions. My work, amongst other things, is about ownership, invasion and places between.
