Better Late Than Never – 12 April 2022

Mike Booth has performed at Jazz and Blues with the Auckland Jazz Orchestra, Phil Broadhurst, Julie Mason, Steve Sherriff, and a host of others over the years.

BLTN is Mike on Trumpet and Flugel, Dixon Nacey on guitars, Nick Taylor on Bass, Hannah de Koster on Drums and keyboards TBC.

Consciously or subconsciously we’ve all thought “Better Late Than Never” and it is with this as motivation that Mike premiers his own compositions at Jazz and Blues reflecting 50 years in the ‘pop industry’ - selections still jazz-infused but nestling in easy listening grooves sometimes funky, sometimes latin flavoured – musically sophisticated and alluring.
