The beautiful stars of Matariki are shining and they are calling us to connect with each other and our natural environment.

Come together and shine with us and visit Ngā Manu on Friday 24th to celebrate and remember.

Loads of activities for all to enjoy, along with discounted admission prices so you can come together with all the whanau, share kai and stories.

What’s on:
Tuna feed: 11am, 12:30pm & 3pm
Free Guided Bush walks: 11:15am & 2:15pm
Arts & Crafts in Robins Nest, catered to the kids but the whole whanau can enjoy: 10am – 5pm
An educational talk on Matariki, the connection to Fresh water, and the significance of our freshwater lowland swamp forest here at Nga Manu: 11:30 and 1:30pm in Robin’s Nest.
Food & Drinks stalls offering: Chai and Hot Chocolate, sausage sizzle and delicious vegetable soup on offer.
