This event is part of Conservation Week 2022.

Bring your whānau and join us for a day of fun and dune restoration at the dunes at the beach end of the Taotahi Walk (Marsden Village, Ruakākā).

There are 670 plants ready for their new home to reduce the sand blow out and protect the dunes while preventing further erosion.

Free morning tea and Sausage Sizzle!

ALL WELCOME
Bring: sun / rain protection, sturdy shoes, plenty of water, gardening gloves and your spade if you have one.

Also, (only if you can) bring a dish to share.

RSVP to: WhangareiCommunity@doc.govt.nz with dietary requirements by 1/09/2022.

In case of adverse weather, the event will be cancelled.

PARKING: You can park on Karawai Street and Tamingi Street.
