Mairangi Bay Community Placemaking Workshop

Join us at the lovely, Mairangi Bay Arts Center to develop the projects you’d like to see here!

Placemaking is an approach where people work together to make places better, not only for themselves but for others and the place itself. Done well, placemaking uplifts the mana and mauri of communities, and we’d love you to join us to develop the kind of placemaking that you’d like to be a part of in Mairangi Bay over the next 6 months.

This workshop will provide local participants with inspiration, prompts, and tactile materials to explore desires and ideas for Mairangi Bay activations (whether permanent or temporary.) Facilitators will guide attendees through the whole process, with the intention of discovering and planning for the favoured projects that you’d like to see here.
