For this Buddhist Summer School, I would like to discuss Zen perspective on Mahayana teaching and sudden enlightenment as my presentation. To set scope of the topic, I have chosen the text, the Shastra on the Importance of Entering the Path of Sudden Enlightenment for this discussion with you.

This text is 8th century Zen/Chan teaching by (Eng.) the ‘Great Pearl, Ocean of Wisdom’ (Ch.) the Ven. Ch’an Master Hui Hai. I encourage you to read the text prior your participation. Everyone is welcome.
