The Makos travel back to McLean Park after a 1-1 record last season, going down to the Pies in the regular season, but narrowly beating out Magpies in the NPC Semi-Final. In a clash between the 2021 semi-finalists, the Magpies will be looking to emulate the 34-22 Ranfurly Shield win. With exciting backs Mitch Hunt, Alex Nanikivell, David Havili throwing the ball around in the open, and Pari Pari Parkinson providing grunt up front, the Magpies will have to be on their game to shut the Mako down. The Friday night 7:05pm kickoff will be a great chance for you to knock off work and head to McLean Park to support the Magpies in our last round-robin home game of the season.
