As the night falls, we will illuminate the capital’s waterfront, turning the city into a playground of lights and lanterns. We invite you to dive into a new and exhilarating world of vivid lights and sensory experiences as you step into the glowing metropolis that is Lumino City.

The 18th -19th of November 2022 will see Wellington's waterfront lit up from end to end as Lumino City’s bright lights and lanterns take over the iconic area. Live performances, tasty treats, and funky beats accompany the dazzling light displays. Immerse yourself in the sights, smells, and tastes of the global world around us.

We invite you to discover a whole new world in Lumino City. Get lost in the street of Italy, watch out for the komodo dragons of Indonesia, and say G'day to the jumping Kangaroo of Australia as we bring the world to Wellington. Discover iconic lanterns representing 12 different countries along with delicious food and spectacular entertainment from a multitude of cultures.

We had over 85,000 people attend the 2020's festival and this year will be even bigger and brighter. Don't miss out -Lumino City is a must-do this November
