LOIS AS AN ARTIST
“I started painting with a small group on Natalie Findlay’s property. After her death the six of us formed “The Party House” Group, meeting weekly in Badham’s old cottage. We later moved to what is now Reyburn Houses' pottery room.
I have attended most of Elena Nikolaeva’s workshops, as well as various other workshops over the years. A group showing of Nikolaeva’s students is currently on at Reyburn House.
I was also an active member of ‘North Gallery’ and an administrator there for five years. My husband and I have visited many galleries worldwide, as well as on my own.
To sum it up - In my art I am particularly interested in abstract art and have a love for colour.”
