'Containment' is an exhibition honoring the women who have been instrumental in Leanne's creative and personal practice. Working with discarded materials and repurposing them into sculptural artworks, she uses the 'empty nest 'as a starting point. Through Leanne's own and others nests, she is making a statement about issues to do with motherhood and the perception of value for how society treats the feminine ideal.

Leanne will be in the gallery each Saturday for the duration of the show. She invites you to visit, chat, make and play. As part of her exhibition, on the 6th August at 2pm, Leanne will present a talk about her processes and evolution of her exhibition work.

Gallery is open Tuesday to Friday 9am - 5pm & Saturday 10am - 4pm.
