Performers include Martin Griffiths: cello, Polly Sussex: piano and viola da gamba and Sherry Grant, piano with Libbie Gillard & Meghan Carppe vocalists. They present music by Trowell, Scriabin, Chopin and Playford and the vignette ‘Almost a Tragedy: Cars on Lambton Quay’ – which has been set to music by Janet Jennings from the original 1908 publication. A world premiere public reading of 'Praeludium Chopins. (to T.C.)' by K. Mansfield concludes the programme.
