In 2014 I made a series of mythical and pithy “gang patches” titled ‘Colouring In”. A thought-provoking and fun show was had at David Lloyd Gallery then the work was shut away in a trunk. One thing and another - I became intrigued to revisit the work, identifying groups within the culture, marking them out. picking them out, colouring in.

Conor Jeory is a self taught artist working on the East Coast, living in Tairawhiti.
