Jac Dillinger Album Release Party

Taranaki-based, singer-songwriter and guitarist Jac Dillinger revives an old-school sound for the new era. With organic bluesy guitar tones and dynamic vocal range, Jac Dillinger's mission sets out to revitalise honesty in storytelling. Bringing with him youthful raw lyrics about life as a young man and the trials and tribulations of adulthood.

Jac Dillinger’s style takes from a melting pot of musical influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Sly Stone, Bill Withers, Pink Floyd, Queen and Stevie Ray Vaughan to name a few.

Dillinger’s debut album draws inspiration from the mixtape culture of the 1980s, where various artists and genres were compiled onto cassette tapes to showcase an individual’s taste in music. Dillinger took this idea and created an album of original material with a range of genres from Blues, Rock, Funk and Soul music.

Dillinger has released several singles from his debut album ‘Jac Dillinger'. New Singles from the album are currently being released from October until December 16th. Be sure to keep up to date with every new release on your favourite streaming platform.

Jac Dillinger will be performing his newly released material with his stellar live band Blu Velvt Reverie, consisting of local musicians Tim Lloyd on guitar (Blistered Fingers, Blue Monkey Racket, The Slacks), Riley Smith on Bass (Blistered Fingers) and Jake Larsen on drums (Betsy and the Reckless, Kaia and the Prophets).

Special guests include Reggae Soul Fusion band Betsy and the Reckless and Indie Rock group Green Bathing.

Be sure to catch Jac Dillinger and Blu Velvt Reverie on Saturday 19th November at Eight Ball Pool & Darts, New Plymouth from 8:30pm to 11:30pm. Doors open at 8:00pm.
